Artist Deepal Silva passed away

Singer and artist Deepal Silva passed away on the  morning of Saturday  while receiving treatment at the Ragama hospital.He was 50 years old at the time of his demise.

Deepal Silva who captured the hearts of Sri Lankans with his voice, stepped into the field of entertainment in the year 1990, singing songs with a touch of humour.

Deepal Silva also left his mark in Sri Lankan stage play, as well as the television film industry as a versatile singer.
