Amla scores century in 100th Test

Ending his streak of ten innings without a fifty-plus score, Hashim Amla scored a century during his 100th Test match, to enter the list of players who have made the similar feat.

Ponting scored centuries in both innings of his 100th match while the highest score currently in a player's 100th Test is Inzamam's 184 in Bangalore in 2004-05.

Amla and JP Duminy (125) flayed Sri Lanka to score 338 for 3 at the end of Day 01 of the 3rd Test match which commenced in Johannesburg yesterday (12).
